Welcome to AddictOut. Your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the AddictOut mobile application (“App”).

By installing or using AddictOut, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

AddictOut does not require users to create an account and does not collect any personally identifiable information, including:

• Physical address
• Photos, videos, or contacts
• Login credentials

1.2 Locally Stored User Data

The App allows users to track:

• Clean days and streaks
• Progress and milestones
• Goals
• Mood history and calendar entries
• App preferences (such as dark mode)

All such data is stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, sync, or store this data on any external server.

1.3 Automatically Collected Non-Personal Information

For app functionality, stability, and analytics, limited non-personal information may be collected automatically, including:

• Device model and manufacturer
• Operating system version
• App version
• Anonymous usage statistics
• Crash and performance logs

This information cannot be used to personally identify you.

2. Third-Party Services

2.1 Google Play Services

AddictOut uses Google Play Services for core app functionality. Google Play Services may collect anonymous information according to their own Privacy Policy:

2.2 Advertising Services

To keep the App free, AddictOut displays advertisements using:

• Google AdMob
• Start.io

These services may collect anonymous data such as:

• Advertising ID
• Device information
• Approximate (non-precise) location
• Ad interaction data

AddictOut does not control or access the data collected by these third-party services.

3. Advertising ID & User Control

Advertising ID is used only to display ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. Users may reset or limit ad personalization through their device settings at any time.

4. Data Control & Deletion

Since all user data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You may erase all progress, history, and streaks at any time by selecting the “Reset All Progress” option within the App.

Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all stored data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data. Data may only be shared when required by law or through trusted third-party SDKs in an anonymized form.

6. Data Security

We follow standard security practices to protect the App. However, no digital system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Health Disclaimer

AddictOut provides motivational content and self-tracking tools only. It does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional treatment. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

8. Children’s Privacy

AddictOut is intended for users aged 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
